SULLY Cricket Club continued their excellent pre-season form with a 27 run win against Cardiff BC.

Batting first Morgan soon lost fellow opener Trinash to a good one handed catch with the score on 20.

Minhaj joined Morgan and together they pushed the score along slowly but surely before upping the tempo and reaching 78 before Morgan retired on the mandatory 40.

N Crick was next to put the bowling to the sword hitting some well timed shots in an excellent 30 not out who with Minhaj 31 not out pushed the score to 111 for 2 at the end of the allocated overs.

In reply, Newbie Deepu starred in the bowling taking 2 for 22 and coupled with three run outs by skipper Morgan, the visitors were never in the hunt and if it had not been the partnership of 38 between Koti (15) and Hickin (15)

The respectable score of 84 would have been a long way off.

D Morgan 40 retired
