PENARTH licensee Ovidijus Janeliauskas has certainly hit the target for youngsters at the local Victoria Primary School.
Mr Janeliauskas, of the Cefn Mably, has supplied the school with a brand new soccer kit this year and the Year 5/6 team responded with a win and draw in a trip to Romilly Primary School in Barry.
After securing a 4-1 win over Romilly B, including two goals from Rhys Pepper, the Penarth boys hit back from 1-0 down to draw 1-1 with Romilly A. In a fiercely contested game, Tomos Richmond popped up with the equaliser.
Teacher Alun Steen, who has been running the school football team for the past two years, said: "We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Janeliauskas for supplying the football kit."
