PENARTH and Dinas runners battled horrendous hills and horses during the annual Man v Horse race over the weekend.
Chris Nellins, Malcolm Bradley and Knill Baird-Murray completed the full arduous 24 mile race, while Andrew Palmer, Cath Tailby and Robert Wilson took part in the equally challenging relay race.
Throughout the race they all battled horrendous hills, mud, bogs and rivers to wade through, as well as avoiding the horses that thundered past them.
Christopher Nellins completed the race in 4.08.20, followed by Malcolm Bradley in 4.18.29 and Knill Baird-Murray in 4.35.36.
After the race they all enjoyed a night out in Llanwrtyd Wells with a live band, as they retold their adventures during the hugely popular race.
