THE Cogan Football Club has held a highly successful festival for U6s through to U11s.
Being Cogan's first event for a few years, the focus was on making it affordable for all teams so entry costs were kept to a minimum to get as many children as possible playing.
Teams travelled from all over the country, with some even camping over to enjoy a full weekend.
The day could not have gone any better, even with a couple of showers, and there was some very attractive football from the youngsters.
The event was supported by the Neville Southall Foundation and the famous Welsh goalkeeper enjoyed a good walk around, chatting to parents and children.
Another Welsh legend to visit the event was Craig Bellamy and a spokesman said: "To have both these great players at the event was great for the kids."
