DOMINATING from the start of the season, the Ex-Servicemen's Club team - the Sparrows - have been crowned Penarth Darts League champions.

From two-thirds through the season, it's just been a question of who would be runners-up and that's still to be decided as rivals Golden Lion and RAFA B have one and two games to play respectively.

The league extends its congratulations to the Sparrows - Jack Frost ('Captain Jack'), Paul Wingren ('Elvis'), John Nowland, Steve Turnbull ('T-Shirt'), Wayne Bennett ('Boozie'), Mark Williams and Paul Creedon ('Slugger').
