DINAS Ladies played against Ponty Ladies, with Ponty winning 3 – 0.
Following on from last week’s victory the ladies went into this game in a confident mood. As has been the case for a while now the villagers look to get the ball down and play.
Both teams had early chances but nothing really threatening. Then disaster struck first losing Samantha Saunders going over on her ankle, then minutes later Ellen Phillips does exactly the same.
This was a game changer. Ponty struck from a dubious free kick to go in one up at the break.
The second half saw Dinas struggle to play their passing game and many girls went shy. Ponty capitalised on this scoring another two without reply.
Never mind always next week ladies.
