THE British International Karate Open Competition was held in London over the weekend, at UEL Sports Dock. Competitors came from all over Britain; Connery Hutchinson from Cogan Leisure Centre, Karate Jutsu club represented Karate Wales Governing Body squad at the British international.

He had two very difficult fights before the finals, where his talent as a young fighter came together to win in the last round. Connery was awarded a Gold medal in his category. He trains at the full time Karate Jutsu dojo in Cogan.
