DINAS Powys Cricket Club starts its winter indoor nets and training in February and is looking for new players to join the club ahead of the 2015 season.
With three Saturday league sides, a Sunday social side and a midweek side, there's something to suit all ages and abilities.
The first net session is on February 10 from 8pm to 9pm at the new "All Squares Sports CIC" on Penarth Road (CF11 8TT).
Sessions will then be weekly until April 14 which is the week before the season starts. The cost will be £5 per session, or £30 if paid in advance.
They will have a bowling machine available, and a facility which replicates the type of pitches they will be playing on (probably low, slow and wet).
If you're keen to get involved in playing cricket in a friendly club, please come along. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the club captain Nathan Piddock on 07969615481 or email him at nathanpiddock@hotmail.com.
They're also on the lookout for players for their junior teams - they will have squads at U9, U11, U13 and U15 and indoor training will also start in February at Stanwell School, Penarth.
Please contact Junior Chairman Brychan Tudor for details or if you have any questions at brychan.tudor@gmail.com.
