PENARTH Sea Angling had their last competition on Sunday, January 18 with first prize going to Dean Bowser with four codling weighing 8lb 15ozs.
Second went to Ray Starling with three codling weighing 6lb 5ozs.
Third was junior member Owen Lane with two codling weighing 4lbs.
Fourth went to Paul Starling with a codling weighing 2lb 6ozs.
All catches came from the beach.
Junior member Catrin Payne caught a 6oz whiting from the pier.
The next competition will take place on Sunday, February 1, fishing from the pier and beach from 3pm until 7pm.
