WALES have it all to do on day two of the Hong Kong Sevens after being edged out by England in their tournament opener.

Newport Gwent Dragons winger Luke Morgan scored two fantastic tries and full Wales international Rhodri Williams also crossed but the English, fifth in the HSBC world rankings, triumphed 26-19.

Wales, who handed a debut to Dragons fly-half Angus O’Brien in the second half, face tricky encounters with the USA and Kenya as they attempt to finish in the top two of Pool D and progress in the main cup competition.

The Americans, seventh in the world, fought back for a 21-14 win against the 12th-ranked Kenyans in a cracker.

Wales are currently 11th in the rankings and need a perfect Saturday if they are to repeat their 2013 heroics when they were edged out by Fiji in a thrilling final.

Saturday fixtures (UK time): England v Kenya (3.12am), Wales v USA (3.34am), Wales v Kenya (7.14am), England v USA (8.42am)
