PENARTH Sea Angling held a competition on Sunday, May 10, with Emlyn Stokes coming first with a 1lb 13oz dogfish from the pier.
Craig Harford came second with an 1lb 2oz dogfish from the pier.
Third was Andrea McQuinston with a 1lb 1oz dogfish from the beach.
Brian Lewis was fourth with a 13oz dogfish from the pier.
Then on Saturday, May 16, Penarth Sea Angling travelled to Cefn Sidan, a beach town in Llanelli.
Colin Boagey came top with 5lb 8oz of flounders.
Next was Stewart Styles with 4lb 4oz of flounders.
Robert Galley caught 3lb 8oz of flounders and Dave Pilcher was next with 3lb 6oz of flounders.
The next competition will be Sunday, May 24, fishing from the pier and beach from 9.30am until 1.30pm.
