THE Vale Reds Disability Football team came away with the silverware last weekend from the Welsh Super Cup.

It was the first time the club had attended the two day festival put on by team tour direct and they showed how they had been preparing hard for the tournament.

It was a new format of nine versus nine for the team and over the two days the club scored 17 goals and conceded one.

The players were supported well by the parents and everyone had a really good time in the sunshine.

This was a fantastic way to sign off as the Vale Reds Disability Football Club for this season as they will now become part of the Barry Town United Football Club.

The club will start training again on September 9, at Bro Morgannwg School every Wednesday from 7pm, if anyone would like to find out more please contact Neil Latham on 07827 334818, all ages are catered for from 12 years old to adult.
