Rhoose 0 v Dinas Powys Wolves 8
AFTER a little blip at the start of the season and a slip up last month Dinas Powys Wolves Under-13s knew that they would require maximum points from the remaining six matches to secure the runners-up spot.
What followed was the probably their best football of the year scoring 47 goals and letting in only three.
In their final match of the season Rhoose were unlucky to catch the Villagers at their best with goals from Robson Mallam, Jake Lewis, Kyle Booker (2), Callum Hewitson, Harrison Kelly and Cole Saunders (2).
Presentations will take place on Friday evening at 8.15pm at Dinas Rugby Club.
Congratulations to Barry Town United on winning the league.
The club would like to wish Callum Hewitson good luck and a speedy recovery from major knee surgery on Wednesday, as the talented striker goes under the knife.
