ON MAY, 9, the ladies of the Windsor Bowls Club played Rectory Road in the Evening League with Angela Hudson, Veronica Flitney, Di Roper and Kay Dyer on one rink and Margaret Morgan, Liz Lewis, Di Thomas And Moyra Owen on the other.

Played in rather damp conditions, and only winning on one rink, Rectory Road secured a seven point to three win over Windsor.

Unfortunately the Double Rink afternoon competition game on May 10, against Barry Central was postponed, due to rain.

On May 12, in the Afternoon League, at home to Llantwit Major, brought success in the three rinks.

On May 11 they travelled away to Sully for a Munro Cup game fully expecting to return home due to the inclement weather. However, this improved and the greens played well as did the Windsor bowlers winning on all rinks. The men won 85 shots to 48.

On May 14, away at Rhiwbina in the PG they played in glorious sunshine, but with 30 of Windsor's bowlers away on tour in Tenby, and the greens not playing so well, the Windsor bowlers could only manage one winning rink.
