ON MONDAY, May 16, the Windsor Bowling Club ladies Evening League game against Murch was held at home.

It was a good win for Windsor, gaining 10 points. The match was played in good spirit by both teams.

Carole Lewis, Lona Thomas, Di Roper and Kay Dyer 22-18.

On Tuesday, May 17. the ladies played Cadoxton away in the Double competition with Beryl Ellis, Joy Stockton (C), Margaret Coughlin and Lars White and Jane Williams, Chris Dyer, Joan Collier and Lona Thomas.

The weather held off for the match which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with the team winning one rink 15-8 and losing one 7-22

On Thursday, May 19, away to Murch in the Afternoon League with Carole Lewis, Ruth Evans, Brenda Dunlop and Kay Dyer and Margaret Morgan, Sue Howells, Lars White and Di Thomas.

The match was played in friendly spirit, but in variable weather conditions. Windsor won overall by two shots.

On Saturday the game against Wyndham, Ogmore Vale in the WBA was also rained off after two ends.

On Wednesday the gentlemen of Windsor played their latest Munro Cup game at home against Barry Athletic. They won all four rinks to score 14 points to zero.

On Thursday the gentlemen played St Albans in a friendly which was abandoned after eight ends due to bad weather.

On Saturday the gentlemen played Pontyclun in a PG2 game. The match was played in wet conditions, it rained incessantly during the whole game, but the match was completed, with the men losing 50-59.

The men's tour to Pembroke was acclaimed by all to be the most efficiently run tour to date thanks to the efforts of Eddie Thorne.

Played in tremendous atmosphere against friendly opposition, it was also good to see John Scone's brother in attendance.

Final game captained by Mike Fullbrook produced wins on four rinks giving a winning score of 117-88.
