NEWPORT Gwent Dragons winger Jared Rosser keeps his place in the Wales line-up as Keelan Giles' deputy for their crunch World Rugby U20 Championship encounter with New Zealand.

The 18-year-old, who initially missed the cut for the tournament only to be handed a call-up following regional teammate George Gasson's hamstring injury, will wear 11 on his back in the Six Nations champions' clash with the holders after also starting in Saturday's tense 10-9 win against Georgia.

Dragons number eight Harri Keddie makes his third start of the competition while tighthead Leon Brown drops back down to the bench with Cardiff Blues prop Dillon Lewis getting the nod.

Both sides have no margin for error if they are to make the semi-finals of the tournament. Ireland are set to claim Pool A top spot by beating Georgia but the runners-up spot could earn a place in the last four if other results go the way of the victors.

The Baby Blacks and Wales are on six points but could do with a double favour in the evening fixtures with Pool B leaders England denying Australia (six points) and the Pool C encounter going the way of third-placed France (five points) rather than second-placed South Africa (six points).

Points difference is the deciding factor and Wales' narrow victory against Georgia leaves them up against it even if they upset New Zealand.

If they fail to make the semi-finals they still play two more games in the North West of England to decide final placings in the tournament.
