Dinas Wolves Under-14s 9 - Sully Vipers 2

In conditions that resembled those more likely in winter, Dinas Wolves Under-14s kicked-off their season on Saturday, September 3 and got off to a flying start.
Having a number of players unavailable through injuries and sickness they still proved to be more than a match for Sully Vipers.
Within four minutes the home side were two goals in the lead thanks to Kyle Booker and Bayley Harewood.
By the break the game as a contest was over after debutante Rian Thomas had managed to find the net and further goals from Harewood and Booker had given them a 5 - 0 lead.
A special mention must go to young Harewood whose second goal was a spectacular bicycle kick.
Sully rallied early on in the second half but Jake Frost, Jake Lewis, Kian Quest, and Tylor Williams with Dylan Morris behind them were in no mood to let them back in the game.
Zac Fifield, Joey Doughty and Booker gave the Sully midfield a good lesson in possession football as they managed to move the ball at pace in tight areas. Harrison Kelly was unlucky not to last longer but a reoccurring hamstring problem meant he only played 20 minutes before leaving the pitch.
Jacob Pereira, another player who had been on his sick bed all week put in a fine performance in the middle of the park. Robson Mallam showed that he works well in all areas as he enjoyed a good performance high on the left.
Further goals from Harewood to take his total to four and two more from Rian Thomas to complete a debut hat-trick saw the home to team run out 9 - 2 winners.
