Anglers on Penarth Pier
PENARTH Sea Angling held their Open Day competition on Sunday, October 9, sponsored by Admiral.
In first place was Drew chapel with a conger eel weighing 9lb 8oz.
In second was Ray Starling with three grey mullets weighing 7lb 8 1/2oz.
Alan Gozzie was third with a 3lb 5oz bass.
Richard Lougher was fourth with a 2lb 5 1/2oz mullet.
The next competition will be on Sunday, October 23 fishing from the pier and beach from 10am to 2pm.
