THE winter season began last November with the monthly fundraising coffee morning for members.
March to September was busy with weekly club games and 16 matches against other golf clubs, and this year the club were very lucky with the weather.
Other highlights included the third Annual Vets Open Day, and Lady Captain's Day.
The annual trip was a visit to Sudeley Castle for culture followed by Cheltenham for retail therapy.
At the AGM on November 16, trophies were presented by the captain Rhian Thomas, to the winners of the club games, and also to the winner of the Bridge Competition for the ladies who meet weekly.
The winner of the Anne Dudley trophy for the best overall golf score of the season was Maggie Bosley.
