PENARTH Bowling Club A team captain, Russell Daniel received a pennant in recognition of winning Division 2 of the PG2 league, ensuring promotion to Division 1 for the 2017 outdoor season.
Russell proved to be an inspirational captain moulding together a very tight and motivated team during the 2016 season.
The club as a whole are very proud of the achievement and hope that the same attitude and commitment can prevail in 2017 to ensure continued success in Division 1.
The award was presented by Albert Mintern, the president of the East Wales Private Greens Bowling Association, at their recent AGM.
