PENARTH Cricket Club's second team won as all three of the other sides' games were called off.
The seconds hosted Bridgend Town at the Athletic Ground on Saturday (July 15).
The visitors won the toss and chose to field first.
The bears reached 268-7 from their 44 overs with Jack Thomas scoring an impressive 102 and James Erasmus contributing 40.
In reply Bridgend Town were bowled out for just 120 off 36 overs.
Despite 43 from Richard Warren, Penarth's bowlers had an enjoyable day with all five picking up two wickets each.
Jack Thomas took 2-5 and Will Skone 2-15 as Penarth ran out winners by 148 runs.
The first's game away at Bridgend Town was called off as was the third team's game away to Christchurch and the fourth team's game at home to Christchurch.
Next Saturday (July 22) the firsts host Pontarddulais, the seconds travel to Newport Fugitives, the thirds are at Mountain Ash and the fourths welcome Cefn Fforest and Maesycwmmer.
