ON THURSDAY, July 27 Murch Bowling Club played a rearranged Munro Cup game against Barry Central Bowling Club.
There were wins for the Central rinks skipped by A Carstairs and R Pierse but fine victories for the Murch rinks skipped
by I. Williams and Captain, M.Hughes ensured a match win for the Murch bowlers.
On Saturday, July 29, Murch entertained Ely Bowling club in a ML5 fixture.
In a comprehensive victory there were wins for all four Murch skips, I.Williams, A Perry, R.Mauchline and Captain, M. Hughes.
Two wins in a row ended the week on a high note after the disappointment against St. Peters.
