THE first week of the new Pirate Darts, sponsored by Greenaway Autos, season saw 4 x 180s, from Matt Stanger, Anthony Adams, and 2 from Neil Thomas.
Highest out, on the night, went to Mo Cox with a 116 checkout.
Of the 20 games played 9 resulted in draws, in a very competitive first week. 18 players remain undefeated going into next weeks fixtures, with 5 players returning from holiday joining the fray.
Matt Stanger hit the highest average on the night, winning twice and drawing with James Johnstone in a high scoring match. He heads the table, on 5pts, together with Carwyn Evans, who also remains unbeaten.
In the Ladies, the 2 Tracy’s, Goddard and Williams, had a ding-dong battle sharing the spoils 1 - 1, Kate Pridham and Sharon Pritchard also drew their encounter, whilst Laura Webbe gained a point, against Tracy Williams, in her first ever competitive match.
Kate and Tracy Goddard lead the table with 3 points a piece.
