STARTING on Friday, Penarth Windsor Bowling Club will host matches in the 10 Nations International Tournament.

Some of the world’s leading bowlers, including stars representing Australia, Canada, South Africa and of course Wales will be participating on the 6th, 7th, 11th and 12th with semi final matches on the 13th.

The tournament starts with the Ladies during the first week followed by the men during the second week.

All the finals will be staged at Penylan.

This highly prestigious event is a major coup for Penarth Windsor and the club is also scheduled to host matches in next year’s Atlantic Tournament which is the Northern Hemisphere qualifying tournament for the World Cup.

The club, which is in Robinswood Crescent, extends a warm welcome to visitors.

There will be no entry charge other than for the semi-final matches when admission is £5 per person.

Matches will commence at 9am and finish mid afternoon.
