AO, it’s off to work we go! Alan Oliver, with three consecutive wins, books his place in the Elite Pirate shoot out.

Including a 16 dart leg, impressive finishing, Alan climbed to 4th in the table. Lee Lewis also bagged a place, despite being thumped by Sparkle, who hit a 104 checkout in a 3-1 victory.

Lee finally got the 2 points he needed against Paul Green, to make the top 8. Paul won 2 lost 2 on his catch up night.

Mark Stevens, John Nowland and Anthony Adams have also booked places, with the remaining spots between Carwyn Evans, Neil Thomas and Nathan Rosser, who all have 1 game left to play.

Pick the other games played this week included another ding dong battle between Neil Thomas (180) and Paul Cox (140), trading blows in a 2-2 draw. Mark Stevens also hit a maximum in a 3-1 win over Nathan, who in turn won by the same score with Paul Green.

Anthony had successes over Paul Cox and Russ Edwards to move within 2 points of James Johnstone at the top of the table. James has finished his fixtures dropping only 4 points in his first campaign.

This week fixtures, sees the final preliminary league games, between Carwyn and Nathan, Paul Green and Sparkle and Anthony and Neil.

Cup games between Anthony and James, Lee and Paul Cox and Mo Cox and Russ completing the lineup for the quarter-finals.

Draw for the ‘blind’ pairs, 1st round will also be made and games played, best of 7, with 4 x singles, each partner playing their opposing pair, and 3 x doubles legs, if required, first to 4 legs. Each round drawn for partners.

Tracy Goddard was unwell this week, get well soon, and the gap at the top was closed as Kate claimed a point and Tracy Williams won her fixture against Louise Stevens, with some inspiring finishing, which resulted in a ‘whoa-whoa’ from both player and onlookers in an impressive display. Well done girl!

Final games, of the first half, sees Tracy Williams face off against Kate Pridham for 2nd place in the table, and Laura Webbe playing both Louise and Tracy Goddard, with TG versus Louise being the last game.
