Penarth RFC home for new season opener

PENARTH RFC open their 2007/8 season this Saturday, September 1, with a home game versus Tylorstown RFC - kick-off 2.30pm.

Having gained promotion last season to Division 3 South East, the Penarth squad has been training well under the direction of coaches Moro Smith and Mark Isherwood.

Having played two warm-up games against Old Penarthians and Llandaff North RFC, the squad is now looking forward to the task ahead - playing against their new opponents..

The captain this season is Mike Clare, who takes over from Andrew Edwards, captain for the past two seasons.
