THERE is only one spot to be filled in the Greenaway Autos Darts Singles League Elite section between three players.

Mark Stevens, needs two points with two games to play, both against Carwyn Evans, who in turn can qualify himself if he beats Mark twice and also gets something from his encounter with, the already qualified Matt Stanger.

John Nowland needs results to go his way to progress. Lee Lewis qualified this week with an awesome display, winning all 3 games played, dropping just 1 leg and hitting 2 maximums along the way. Anthony Adams also confirmed his spot, with a game to spare, and also hit the 50th maximum of the season to date, taking his personal tally to 14.

John Nowland also joined the ‘180’ Club, taking the total of maximums to 53 and counting.

Russ Edwards and Nathan Rosser’s game, for 4th qualification spot, in the Mutineers, lived up to it’s billing.

Nip and tuck all the way but a 2-2 score line means Russ takes the last space, and will play Neil Thomas on finals night, with the two Pauls Cox and Green contesting the other semifinal.

The 2 remaining Pairs quarter-finals where played, with a last leg 14 darter for Lee Lewis and partner Anthony Adams, advanced to the semifinals along with Mark Stevens and Alan Oliver who made light work of their game.

The semi-final draw is: Alan Oliver and Neil Thomas v Anthony Adams and John Nowland

Lee Lewis and Mark Stevens v Grant Coombes and James Johnstone

Tracy Goddard has qualified for the Ladies Final, with the other place between Kate Pridham, Laura Webbe and Tracy Williams, to be played for next week.

This week is a night off for most with games between Carwyn Evans and Matt Stanger, Mark Williams and Grant Coombes and the much anticipated clash between Anthony and Matt to round things off.

The Pairs semi-final between Alan/Neil and Anthony/John will also be played.
