Chance for Vale of Glamorgan girls to play futsal
7:40am Thursday 12th July 2012 in Sport
PRIMARY school aged girls can improve their soccer skills at new Futsal sessions taking place every Thursday between 6pm and 7pm at Parc Bryn-Y-Don in Dinas Powys.
Played with a smaller, heavier ball, futsal focuses on small sided games and developing technique and was played by Brazilian stars such as Ronaldinho and Neymar when they were younger.
The sessions are backed by the Welsh Football Trust and are led by UEFA 'B' and 'C' Licence coaches.
So, if you want to play more like Brazil and Spain, and less like Greece, then call Andy Davies on 07413 360504 or Adam Fowler on 07772 760772 to find out more.
Sessions cost £2 per week.
You can keep up to date with the latest sports sessions that are taking place in the Vale of Glamorgan this summer by visiting the Vale Council's website at www.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk/sportsandplay
