Boys take part in team win

WINNERS: Cardiff and Vale middle boys' team won the all-Wales combined events competition at Newport.
A NUMBER of Ysgol Bro Morgannwg pupils represented the county, Cardiff and the Vale, at the Wales combined events competition in Newport recently.
The competitors were raring to go and were a credit to the school.
The Cardiff and the Vale middle boys' team won the All-Wales competition and two boys from Ysgol Bro Morgannwg made up this victorious team.
The team comprised of Harri Williams, who finished second individually, and Ieuan Orton, who finished third.
Jacob Briscombe finished sixth.
The boys had to compete in five multi events - high jump, long jump, 85m hurdles, shot putt and 800m.
