IT IS not often that you get to share a playing field with the greatest players in the world.

But that's exactly what will be happening to Penarth CC's Under 11s on Friday (July 10)as they will be taking the field at the Swalec Stadium in the lunch break of the first Ashes test between England and Australia.

The talented youngsters reached the final of a highly competitive qualifying tournament held in the grounds of Cardiff Castle last Sunday.

And their reward is to play in front of 15,000 people at the first test match to ever be held in Wales.

Everyone at the club congratulates the boys on their achievement and wishes them well on the big day.
