Kyrie Irving scored a whopping 46 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers rallied to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 125-120.
Irving benefited from being rested on Saturday night, and put in a superb performance as the Cavs overturned an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to confirm their place in the NBA post-season.
D’Angelo Russell almost matched Irving’s tally for the Lakers as he got 40 points in a losing cause.
The San Antonio Spurs got back to winning ways as they beat the Sacramento Kings for the 10th time on the spin.
The Spurs had lost their last two games, but came good thanks to 22 points from Pau Gasol.
The Philadelphia 76ers overcame a 13-point deficit in the third quarter to beat the Boston Celtics 105-99, while Anthony Davis scored 28 points in the New Orleans Pelicans’ 123-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
There were also wins for the Portland Trail Blazers, the Toronto Raptors, the Detroit Pistons and the Dallas Mavericks.
