PENARTH and Dinas Runners worked together as a team to overcome a range of tricky obstacles and challenges in the Survival of the Fittest race over the weekend.
Members from the club worked together to overcome bales of hay, climb walls, swim through freezing cold water, and offer words of encouragement when their team mates were suffering.
They overcame the race, which was just over 10k and based around Cardiff Bay, as well as all of the obstacles put before them.
Ian Warburton, Yvonne Williams, Susan Smith, Debbie Evans, Mandy Barrington, Jane Blethyn and Andrew Williamson all worked as a team together, while the likes of Steve Goodfellow and Rachael Davey also completed the race with in their own respective teams.
