FIRST prize went to junior member Owen Lane who caught two codling weighing 4lb 2ozs from the beach.
Second was Ray Starling with a conger eel and codling weighing 4lb 6ozs from the beach.
Third was Jim Sexton with a 2lb 10oz codling from the beach.
Fourth was junior member Ben Jackson with a 2lb codling from the beach.
Junior prize winner was Jacob Mills with a 1lb 1oz codling.
This Sunday’s first Christmas Competition for Penarth Sea Angling is from 5pm until 9pm fishing on the pier and beach.
