PENDRAGONS Netball Club are celebrating another successful year and want to thank all those who came and supported their fundraising event.

The Hallowe'en fundraiser was a roaring success with local businesses donating raffle prizes and a ticket sell out for the quiz.

January 2015 brings new beginnings for the club where they move from their current training venue at Yysgol Pen y Garth to Stanwell School, where they can expand their training sessions on a full size court.

They are hosting a recruitment evening for anyone interested in joining the team.

They welcome all ages of any ability to come and try out a new fitness activity for the new year. This will be held on Wednesday, January 28, at 7pm at Stanwell School. The team will be opening up their doors and offering a free session where there will be basic netball drills, fitness sessions and gameplay to give interested parties a taster for their sessions.

Rosemary Granger, from Pendragons, said: "We are a friendly team offering fun and varied fitness sessions, and play all levels of the game from friendlies to competitive league games. Netball is a fabulous sport, and it offers a real team spirit and the chance to meet new people.

"If anyone is interested in more information from the team, or would like to attend the free session, please email pen_dragons@outlook.com or feel free to turn up on the night."
