HUNDREDS of junior goalkeepers from across Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff recently attended a unique goalkeeping day at Everton FC Finch Farm Academy with Everton legend Neville Southall and PG10.
Junior players aged between six and 16 years old were taken through their paces by Everton FC academy coaches and the Everton legend Neville Southall using the first team and academy facilities.
Children and their families also watched the Premier League match between Everton FC and Newcastle FC in which Everton FC won 3-0.
PG10 head coach Peter Griffiths said: "The children are receiving more and more wonderful opportunities through our partnership with Everton FC, this not only for the children's football development but also provides the children and young people to learn from a top professional club; we cannot thank Everton FC enough for helping us inspire the children and aid their learning opportunities”
