Lee Williams took first prize in the latest competition
AT the latest Penarth Sea Angling competition on Sunday, March 29 all catches came from the beach.
First prize went to Lee Williams who caught three codling weighing 6lb 14ozs.
Second was Jim Sexton with a codling weighing 3lb 3ozs.
Ray Starling came in third place with a codling weighing 2lb 14ozs.
Fourth was Dave Pilcher with a codling at 2lb 11ozs.
The next competition will be on Sunday, April 5, fishing from the pier and beach from 6pm until 10pm.
