RECENTLY in Penarth Darts they saw the end of the season's finals played at the Conservative Club for the first time in many years.
They had a couple of surprise winners as none of last season's cup holders were able to repeat their success, there were four categories, two of will follow in the report and the other two will feature next week.
Kevin won this seasons 501 best of three legs singles competition returning to darts following a 15-year break to beat Jack Frost in the final. Jack has featured in the final many times having played in the league for 40 years but the coveted trophy eluded him again this year.

Mark and Mark were surprise winners of this season’s 501 best of three legs pairs competition with many past winners exiting in earlier rounds, they took their opportunities to overcome Ian Hartley and Dave Hodges on the double and take the title.
The pairing have enjoyed great success this year winning both pairs disciplines with Mark Stevens going on to win the 1001 grand masters singles to become triple champion.
