ON Friday (July 10) Penarth Bridge Club members remembered Rose Brannon’s contribution to the Penarth Bridge club with an evening of Bridge, good food and something to drink.
Rose’s Night winners were Peter Millar, Mike Best, Eric Favanger and Mike Downey.
The Results were:
North/South
Eric Favager & Mike Downey 56 per cent
Audrey Hall & Bunty Wiseman 51 per cent
East/West
Peter Millar & Mike Best 62 per cent
Joy Seculer & Anne Johns 60 per cent
The Summer League has only seven sessions to run. In the lead is Jean Akers with 56 per cent, with Jill Waterman and Judy Collins second and third.
The Club also is running a “Bring a Friend" evening each month, the next event is on Friday, July 17.
