BELLE Vue Bowling Club faced Roath Park on Saturday, narrowly losing by just two shots.
Belle Vue won on three of the four rinks but with a big loss on the last meant Roath took the victory.
Rink 1: Barrie Bagwell, Gordon Ford, Brian Morgan and skip Dave Purser won 23-22
Rink 2: Frank Keen, Ray Patterson, Trevor Ford and skip Paul Peterson won 23-19
Rink 3: Paul Booth, Colin Scammell, Alan Thomas and skip Len Fowler won 20-6
Rink 4: Roland Fletcher, Gerald Thomas, Dave Miller and skip Malcolm Thomas lost 10-31
Belle Vue commented on how good the game was and thanked Malcolm for the food.
