BELLE Vue Bowls played their final match of the season against Ystrad Mynach. A substantial win for Belle Vue meant that they were saved from relegation.
Belle Vue won 81-56 taking away 12 points to Ystrad Mynach's two.
Saturday's captain, Richard Fitzjohn, wants to thank all the players this season for making it so enjoyable and to everyone who rallied around in the final match to keep the team in their league.
Rink one, skipped by Malcolm Thomas, won 32-13 with lead Roland Fletcher, 2 Cameron Patterson and 3 Dave Miller.
Rink two was also successful, winning 19-12, with lead Gordon Ford, 2 Len Fowler, 3 Richard Fitzjohn and skip Alan Thomas.
On rink three lead Paul Booth, 2 Dave Rappitt, 3 Barrie Bagwell and skip Dave Purser won 14-11.
Rink four was the only unfortunate rink to lose, with a total of 16-20, with lead Dave Smith, 2 Gerry Field, 3 Trevor Ford and skip Paul Peterson.
All the team enjoyed their final match, especially the winning result which was their biggest of the season.
