Penarth Sea Angling held their first competition since their break
PENARTH Sea Angling have returned from their summer break with a competition held on Sunday, September 13.
First place went to Dave Pilcher with a conger eel weighing 17lb 8 1/2oz from the beach.
Next was Andrea McQuiston with a 4lb 10oz conger eel from the pier.
In third place was Drew Chapel with a 1lb 15oz conger eel from the pier.
The next competition will be Sunday, September 20, fishing from the pier and beach from 9.30am until 1.30pm.
