PENARTH Bridge Club recognises Eric and Annie Favager’s contribution to the club by competing annually for the Favager Trophy and Annie’s Cup.
On Friday, October 23, the final of Annie’s cup took place. The event is a combination of serious Bridge play and a social event with drinks and snacks, but members have to play in events to qualify for the final.
The winners were Mike Downey and Tony Ratcliff with Eric Favager and John Salisbury in second place. Third equal were Pat Sullivan and Hugh Simmonds, Joy Secular and Adrian Trickey.
The next big event at the Kymin will be the Children in Need Sims on November 6. If you would like to join them to support this cause please contact the club secretary, Peter Craig, on 02920 514719
