Plenty of fish were caught in the latest competition
PENARTH Sea Angling held their latest competition on Sunday, January 10.
For the second week, Calvin Parker was in first with a flounder and a whiting from the beach weighing 1lb 13oz.
Second was Paul Starling with three eels from the beach weighing 1lb 12 1/2oz.
Next was Stephen Lane who caught two whiting on the beach weighing 1lb 1oz.
Brendan Davies was fourth with two whiting from the pier weighing 14oz.
Junior member Owen Harding caught a silver eel and a whiting on the beach weighing 13 1/2oz.
The next competition will be on Sunday, January 17, fishing from the pier and beach from 10am until 2pm.
