TWO ladies from Dinas Powys Tennis Club have been honoured by being selected to represent Wales in the 2016 Four Nations Seniors International Competition held this year in Wrexham at the end of the month.
They will be competing against International players representing England, Scotland and Ireland.
Julie Collins will captain the over 55s ladies age group and Freda Emery will compete in the over 60s age group.
Both players are delighted and proud to be representing Wales in such a prestigious competition.
The ladies are held in high esteem within the tennis club and are well respected throughout south Wales as outstanding and consistent players. Both team up together when playing for Dinas Powys to form a formidable partnership in the regional summer and veterans winter doubles leagues competing in the highest divisions.
Julie and Freda also play throughout the UK representing south Wales at County level.
Dinas Powys Tennis Club and its members, together with the families of both players wish them every success throughout the Seniors International Competition.
