THIS week's Penarth Darts saw some high scoring legs played at the Three Horse Shoes in Dinas Powys.
For the Shoes, Tony Deacon scored well with 100 100 140 x2 and 123 x9, for the Lion B Paul Cox hit three ton’s, Sean Keepin 123 100 100 x4 and x1 and Russ Edwards 140 100 x8 and x16.
The final score was Shoes five, Lion B nine.
At the Golden Lion the A side took on the Ex’s B side. Steve Denman was best for the Lion with three ton’s x5 and the best for the Ex’s B were Ian Hartley 100 134 125 x20 x10, and Dave Hodges 100 121 x20 and 100 140 x16.
At the Ex’s Club the A side took on the Coro Oldies and Mark Stevens scored 140 100 x10 and 122 140 x20 for the Ex’s, Derek Burtenshaw helped rescue the Coro’s evening when he hit x5 in the team game to take the three points.
The final score was Ex’s A nine, Coro five.
