MURCH Bowling Club ladies section lined-up a Ladies Double Rink match against Barry Plastic on Tuesday, May 3.
Regrettably this first home game of the season had to be cancelled as the Barry club were unable to present a team. Neither team were able to rearrange the match, so Murch were awarded the full 10 points.
More luck for the ladies later that day when they took part in an Evening League match away to Mackintosh.
The match saw them narrowly lose by one shot to the Cardiff club, with each club winning a rink by a substantial margin.

Finally on Thursday, May 5, the ladies were playing at home against Llantwit Major. Murch bowlers enjoyed a comfortable win overall with 50 shots to 42, winning two out of the three rinks.
