SULLY Sports RFC held their Presentation Dinner Dance at the clubhouse on Friday, June 10.
Club chairman Richard Gully welcomed cllr Stuart Egan, Vale of Glamorgan mayor and club president, and Chris Mort, Contract Travel Services. He thanked the club’s main sponsors Chris Mort, and, in his absence Gordon Hadfield, The Spinney and Island View Caravan and Holiday Parks, for their generous support over the last season.
Presentations made on the night celebrating the 2015/16 season were:

Best New Player to Tom Cotter
Most Improved Player to Dai Harris
Player of the Year to Alex Szuchnic
Players Player of the Year to Pete Brown
The club are happy to confirm that Chris Cummins and Barry Booker will again head up the coaching team next season, and training will commence in the first week of July.
Friday, June 24, sees the next bi-monthly reunion of players/members. Each of the three reunions held has seen an increase in numbers attending. The many yarns, stories, memories and songs, have ensured a most enjoyable evening.
The reunion will be at the Sully Club, starting at 7.30 pm. Although attended, in the main, by the club’s old members, any Sully Sports player/member will be most welcome.
