WINDSOR Bowling Club ladies visited Llantrisant on Tuesday, June 21, for a double rinks match.

The ladies enjoyed the afternoon against friendly opponents, with the bowling played on an excellent green.

The score didn't reflect the occasion, with the opposition being strong.

Moyra Owen's rink overcame an initial deficit to win by two shots. Di Thomas' rink were neck and neck but lost by one shot on the last end, and Kay Dyer's rink never got to grips with the game and were comprehensively beaten.
