MURCH Bowling Club ladies travelled to Rhoose on June 21, for the once a year fixture in the double rink league to play on their all weather surface.
Murch bowlers have not yet managed a win overall but on this occasion lost on both rinks, giving Rhoose a very comfortable win of 19 shots, losing 44 to 25.
Rink 1: K Macleod, J Garland, C Real and skip P Ayres - Rhoose 22, Murch 12
Rink 2: C Russell, M Rice, S Wade and skip A Orchard - Rhoose 22, Murch 13
On June 22, Murch ladies entertained the long established Cardiff Club, Mackintosh, at home and secured a very comfortable win of 27 shots.
Rink one was a keenly contested match with Murch gaining a very narrow victory with rink two securing the a comfortable win giving the overall score 48 to 21 shots.

Rink 2: K Macleod, G Hughes, S Mauchline and skip M Clake - Murch 32, Mackintosh 6
On June 23 Murch were playing home against Millwood and had a successful afternoon, winning on all three rinks, securing a margin of 57 shots.
Rink 1: C Real, M Rice, E Carryer (C) and skip M Clake - Murch 28, Millwood 7
Rink 2: G Hughes, A Allen, A Crouch and skip C Tranter - Murch 32, Millwood 7
Rink 3: S Wade, A Croom, P Ayres and skip S Mauchline - Murch 20, Millwood 9
