WINDSOR Bowling Club ladies played at home against Penylan in an evening league match on Monday, July 11.

Both sides enjoyed the fixture with it being a close game throughout. The match ended with a win on both rinks giving Windsor a well earned 10 points.

On Tuesday, July 12, the ladies were at home again to Pontyclun in the double rinks.

The ladies only won on one rink, and it wasn't enough to cover the loss on the other, so only three points to Windsor.

On Thursday, July 14, the ladies played a rearranged match at home to Barry Central in the double rink. The ladies claimed victory by 11 shots

On the same day the ladies welcomed Murch in the afternoon league.

The match was played in a friendly spirit which resulted in a win on two rinks for Murch who took eight points. Windsor only took two points.

On July 10, Windsor men's bowlers Ken McLeod and Rod Hudson won the Penylan Open Pairs competition.

On Tuesday, July 12, the Windsor men were at home to Rhiwbina in the Alliance league.

A good win for Windsor winning three rinks and drawing one, with a final result of 76 shots to Windsor and 52 to Rhiwbina.

Windsor secured victory with 73 shots to Sully Sports' 61, giving Windsor 10 points.

On Friday, July 15 at Cowbridge the men competed in the first round of the Huw Meddings Trophy.

Windsor gained eight points from the competition and qualified for the finals.
